Are you having nos or after market panels replaced?
nos is the way to go and if you remove all the interior and glass, gutter trim and rear bumper and have a glass co remove and install the backglass(about 50 bucks) you should be in the 10 to 12 hour range ea or if no removal 18 to 22.
Replacement panels to the body line(after disassembly if its done)should be in the 10 to 12 hour range ea

DAMN I must have taken a stupid pill............you already said it was a convertible.

I cut n.o.s. full quarters down to weld on my convertible right at the top edge of the quarters, welded along that edge and made a perfect seamless repair(all metal with a very thin skim coat of polyester glaze),the nos quarters had the groove of the bodyline all the wat along the upper edge and turned out beautiful.

But the more you take off and out the less expensive.youre still lookin at 10 to 12 ea.

When I had my full quarter on the drivers side replaced about 2 years ago, I was charged $500. The guy was nice enough to do some misc body work too.
