I have a pair of the '492' small block chevy heads (double humps with accessory bolt holes, 1.94 valves). I pulled these off of an old engine, and would imagine they need total rebuilding.

Because of all the performance head choices available in the aftermarket, these are probably not as popular as they once were. I would like to sell them at a swap meet, but have no idea what to price these heads for. Any suggestions?

i love those old fuelies i run a set of 461's on my 65 nova. true there are a lot of aftermarket heads out there that are a good deal and all. but i would bet you could get $200-$300 for a good complete rebuildable set of 492's

I sold a pair of lesser heads (441 open chambers) on Ebay, it was kinda funny the guy paid like $100 for the heads and $104 to ship them hehe. I would think $200 for those heads would be reasonable to ask.
