Hey guy's....

I am looking to buy a roll cage for my 68. I want to go with a 6/8 point setup that will allow me to keep my back seat. Can anyone recomend a Roll Cage Kit that will work well ? The car will have no glass and minimal interior when it is installed to make life a little easier.

I was thinking along the lines of the following:
Chassis Engineering
6 Point Cage (CCE0400)
Roll Bar Package Tray Option (CCE3212)
OR
Competition Engineering
8 Point Roll Cage Kit (COE3124)

Thanks in Advance for the info

Steve,
Don't have a whole lot of my own knowledge to share but here's a good post I found on rollbars: one of racer1320's posts (http://www.chevelles.com/forum/Forum10/HTML/003915.html)
That one has a wealth of info. You may want to shoot off an email to racer1320 and get some solid advice. If you take a look at that post he has kept his full interior just as you want to achieve.
good luck bud!

Thanks for the info Steve... I had searched on the roll bar / cages and found that and several other good posts. It doesn't look like that there are any good "kit's" for roll bar's / cage's.

I thought that for once something might actually be easy! I guess I should know better by now.

I have found that s & w race cars has a great selection oc cages, subframes, etc pretty good prices. you should check them out www.swracecars.com (http://www.swracecars.com) 8pt kit# 11-1003 $149
10pt kit# 11-1503 $199

Used a S&W racecar 8-pt. kit with rear seat option(forgot the part #s);kit fit my '66 with few alterations needed.Only used 6-pts though(additional bracing to the front down bars was added at the kick panel / door frame area)so there would be easier access for rear seat occupants. Will add the 8-pt crosslegs when I reach the 10's,not required for mid to high 11's.Also,I recommend swing-out kits for easier access(especially for us middle-agers);got mine from Art Morrison Ent.
