Was it correct for a 67 chevelle SS to have the Chevrolet script on the left front corner of the hood?? Seen some with and some without. Thanks Slime

The only deviations I've seen fromn the 'Chevelle' script was on the El Camino. Also in Canada the hood was used without any script on the Beaumont. I see the repro SS hoods come without any holes for the nameplate. This is a relief for the handfull of Beaumont SD-396s out there.
