will a super victor intake with 4500 base plate clear a 70 chevelle cowell induction hood its siting on top of a tall deck big block. the carb is a quick fuel carb.

Will this clear with or without an air cleaner?
If i get the motor to sit as low as i can on the motor mounts with barely enough clearance 4 oil pan is this going to work???????

Nope.
I've got a Super Vic on a standard deck BB with a 1" spacer, a King Demon carb, and a drop base 14" air cleaner and it all barely clears a 4" cowl hood.

i guess so even with no carb spacer and no air cleaner it would probably still not work:( and you got to run a air cleaner on the street especially 4 long distances.

Any sugestins on what manifold? will work to feed 500+ cubic inches with spray its going to be mostly 4 drag racing, some street use also.
AND THAT WILL CLEAR THE HOOD!
