I bought a 69 Malibu 307 in August for $5,500. Here are the specs; It has a 350, original interior, bench seats, repainted,drum brakes, Air conditioner, automatic trans with steering wheel mounted shift. Solid Trunk, It runs very well, quite a few dings and scratches in paint job, couple dents. little surface rust, bad weather strips.

I've seen worse cars go for much more on Flea Bay. I'd say you got a good deal, especially if you're happy with it.

From looking at the pics, the car looks great. If it is as you describe, I would say you got a good deal- pretty far from being ripped off.

I agree....I've seen total pieces of cr....well you know for for more. Like alot more.

I say that you have a solid car for the price. If the drivetrain holds up you really made out.

Looks like a fine car for a great price. I've been seeing incomplete, non-running, or rust-bucket cars going for that price. Chevelles prices have really been appreciating the last few years, hang onto it for 5 years and it'll be worth over 10g's as it is.

You got ripped off big time. The only way you’ll be able to sleep at night is to ship the car to me. You’ll feel much better not being reminded of your mistake every time you see the car. You know how it made you feel when you would see an old girl friend that broke up with you? You don’t want to go through that again. Heck, I’ll even pay the shipping charges :-)

I've seen worse with the owner asking more. I looked at 2 different cars that weren't even good parts cars, were talking refuges from Pick-a-part and the owners were asking 2500. Had a nice young lady come up and ask how much I paid for my 68 and just about fell over when I told her 5800, cause she had paid 9500 for a car in need of alot of attention (it was a good starter car) and this was like 4 years ago.

I would say something like o I don't know... heck no you didn't get ripped off i'd say you stole the thing. Unless there's something your not telling us i think you'll be fine.
