Here is a photo of my 1969 Malibu back seat. If anyones fimiliar with it tell me if this was standard. Also am I better of keeping it or getting it reapoulstered.

That was an upgrade "Rior" cloth interior option. My '69 Malibu has the same stuff.

It is expensive to order replacement covers like those. $619.00 for front and rear seat covers as opposed to $200ish for the standard vinyl.

Needless to say mine will get the standard vinyl when it comes time to replace em.

There was just an article in one of the recent "Muscle Machines" Magazine that Hemmings motor news produces. All orignal Blue 69 Chevelle SS with the same interior in blue. Nice article.
