FINALLY got everything done (ok, not everything still have the ss stripe to put on, get a perfect alignment, replace some dash bulbs, locate a dash short, ...) but i drove it around the neighborhood for the first time under its own power since '86! a car that was once in pieces and looked like one of these post-suicide boomber cars when i got it. I built the motor and got a free finger-crossing th400. I started it up, put it in gear (with my heart pulsating faster than the exhaust), felt the motor drop a couple hundred rpms, let off the brake (which are power discs that worked also) and i started to move. I accelerated abit out of the driveway and turned the wheels (which has power steering that i got from a TC'er, it works too, but is leaking a bit from the hose..). What a great day. NO problems and i better say that there will be no problems in the future either...i just want to decide that NOW. everything on the car is practiaclly new, so i dont see why it wouldnt drive like it just came off the lot...

So, happy day... I also bought a new truck today (i had a post in bench racing about what truck to get about a week ago). I ended up getting a 99 chevy s-10 zr2, summit white, 4x4, 5 speed (which was very hard to find), 3 doors, 3.73 rearend, towing package, power everything.. just a bbeautiful truck..

let me know how you like the Colorado. I looked at one, but all they had was 2wd autos.
