yes unless it was orderd with the gauge pakage, then it would have got a dash top mounted clock , or it would be mounted on the trans hump. I am not sure whitch one it got but I know both were used in 66-67

Like Keith said... if you got gauge pkg. then the clock would have been dash mounted. In 67, it would have been mounted on Floor ( on trans hump near dash end.

A clock was standard with Malibu and SS, as far as I know. Without the optional guages and no console, the clock would be located in the instrument cluster. With optional guages and no console, it would be located on top of the dash.

That is correct Bruce... I was focused on the lack of a clock in the gauge area completely, sorry for any confusion and then, as has been said... top of dash! for 66

Thanks for clearing that up guys, thats one of my favorite things about this site, not only does your question get answered, but you get a world of info on the subject in general. The reason I asked the original question was because as I was browsing through all my service reciepts, I came across one for a " clock installation" was the way it was worded, must have been a replacement. I just wanted to confirm that the instrument cluster wasn't originally a clock delete.
