In an old post" dirt in clear coat". their were a number of great suggestions. I spoke to the sales man yesterday about the Anti static additive . He was unaware of any such product. Anybody got a product or manufactures name?
Thanks

Never heard of it either, you sure you read that right? Avoid any additives in the paint unless the manufacturer says to put it in.

I used to paint cars years ago and remember an anti-static product you mixed with fast reducer and dusted over the car before painting. You might try SEM products. From what I remember It worked well. Good Luck.

Just strap a chain to the frame and let lay on the ground and be done with it. Adding chemicals to a paint system can haunt you in the end. Be sure to wet the floor down also, prior to painting. The dust won't fly while its wet. RandyB..

I used to shoot alot of Fiberglass canopies, and when you sanded or wet sanded them down there would seem to be alot of static electricity created. I found a product called (Stat Free), mix it with a semi-fast reducer and shoot a light coat on the vehicle, let dry, then paint. Works good.

will try and track down the product, that you add to reducer and lay a mist coat.
The guys at the shop have been battling a
dust,dirt) problem for awhile.
Thanks
