I washed the 72 with dawn to degrease it. I then wet sanded it for 8 hours and washed it again. I need to spray etch on the roof where I took it to bare metal because of vinyl(sp) top glue. I will then primer(PPG)the whole car. The problem I have is when I run my hand across the body I am still getting the gray dust off. What do I need to use to clean it before priming?
Thanks in advance.

Use prepsol and clean dry rags. Couple of applications should do the trick.

Do I get the prepsol at any parts store or do I get from my paint supplier?
I guess I better get some more clean rags.

Can't say iv'e seen prepsol at parts houses, just automotive paint suppliers. Iv'e got in a habit of just using disposible rags, trying to wash cloth rags is a bad idea, wife not to happy with her bra smelling like reducer, LOL! Idea here is clean and lint free.

Ok. I will pick up some disposable rags. My wife already complains when I wash my overalls that I wear when I work on the cars.
Thanks for the help.
