Where can I find the trim that goes on the side quarter, door and fender of a 64 Malibu SS? Debating weather or not to retain it or
fill the holes and omit it altogether.

You can buy the door piece and top of the quarter pieces from any major distributor (like our sponsor.) However, as far as I know, the fender pieces and the rear 'L' shaped pieces must be restored. I'm not aware of anyone repoping them. Watch out for the fender pieces if you're buying them. There's a left and right and they look pretty much the same until you try to put them on the car.

I think the trim is worth getting though. The 64 SS looks sexy with that strip along the top. Good luck.

Pipeman....

That trim along the top of the fenders is unique to the 64 SS and unless you absolutely have to, leave it there. I have it on mine and it's a PITA to clean / wax around but it's something that's got to be there. I never did find any repro trim for that but I was lucky and mine is in fairly good shape. Just remember to put the stuff back on the front fenders before you put the fender's back on the car. Learned that lesson the hard way!

Hope it helps
