Hello, I purchased a 1969 Chevelle last week. Being in Canada, we used to have a Pontiac model called a Beaumont. Well the Chevelle I purchased has a Beaumont front grille assy. I am in the proce3ss of converting it back to a Chevelle front grille assy. What I need badly, is reference to the ataching points of the main grille(ceneter). I bought all the parts at NPD, but they don't have anybody at the Michigan outlet that can help me. I have a buddy at work converting his '69 396SS back to a 396 from a 350(thats how he bought his). But his all apart and he can't remember offhand(lol). Any help with maybe a scanned shop manual image of the whole assy would greatly be appreciated.

I don't have a 69 but you might look into getting the fisher body manual or the factory assembly manual I believe both have the the exploded view of the grille showing how to attach it. Lots of other good info both books too. BTW are you converting a Beaumont to a Chevelle or was just the grille changed? A Beaumont had other different stuff too(tail lights and dash for example). Good Luck.
