In my NPD catalog they have OEM rally wheel argent silver paint for $16.95 a can. They also have rally wheel paint from a different brand for $4.95.

I'm assuming that you get what you pay for here, but felt like asking you guys before I pay twelve bucks a can more for the good stuff.

Also: How many cans would it typically take to paint four wheels? And can someone give me pointers for prepping my wheels for paint -- sand and primer?

Well....what year is this for?
I paid even more $49 for a quart of "Correct arget silver with grit finish" for my 71ss. It was laquer paint. Depends if you are going for points in a show or just close enough!
But I would reccommend have them sand blasted.
I paid about $60 for all 4 wheels..alot easier than ? hours each down in those crevasses
