What will this converter stall behind a 350 cui csb with a comp cam 268 high energy cam 454 lift in/out http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=HUP%2DGM25HD&N=4294865449+115&autoview=sku
Will it stall as low as 2000? I want it to stall a little bit higher, but think this will stall to high for my cam and will slip at my cruise speed. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=HUP%2DGM30HD&N=4294865449+115&autoview=sku The rear has a set of 3.73 gears and the rear tires is 27" tall.

Every converter slips all the time (except a lockup version) no matter what your cruise rpm's are, and some slip more than others. A well built 3000 stall converter may even slip less than a poorly made 2500 stall version. You might call Hughes and get the word straight from the manufacturer.

I had a custom built 2200 12" from a local shop, flashed to 2800 ish with traction and didn't affect cruise much at all 200rpm?... Now with a 3000 10" , flash is 3500 or so (never got enough traction to see) it slips a lot below 3000 but tightens up above that.

Hope that helps some.
