IDK if this should go in here or body shop but, I have installed electric-life power windows all aorund in my 71 chevelle and the drivers side quarter has given me troubles ever since. For those that have worked on this window, they may know what i'm talking about. The roller that goes into the hole in the bottom of the window. It is held on by a washer with threads and two holes in the back. I can never get this tight enough (Big hands and no tool) is there a special tool to tighten it? Thanks!

There is a tool for that. Maybe a glass shop would have it. I always install that stuff with the glass out of the car. I tap on those little holes with a larger nail set and a small hammer till it's snug.

You need a tool called a spanner wrench to tighten those. It's a handle with an end about the size of a silver dollar, then cut in half with 2 posts sticking out.

A 9/16" open end wrench fits the holes well and then I use a cresent wrench to turn the 9/16" wrench.

Wait, what is required to get the glass out/in? My hands are big so there is little to no room to turn anything once they're in there. I've used the cut-outs on the inside of the car (behind the panel) and the door jamb vent and neither of these are big enough. If i could get the glass out and put them on with thread lock and be able to tighten them, it'd be ALOT nicer! Thanks guys!
