Where can I get these nails for installing on a tail skin and how do I go about welding them on? Seems kinda lame they are not installed on a fresh tail skin. Last think I want to do is warp my new tailskin. Any info appreciated.

A company called Au-Ve-Co is a fasterner provider and they market those trim "rivets". You may have to buy a box of 50 or 100 but they're cheap. Their "rivet" has a phillips head in the center of the "rivet" head and the other end is threaded and has a small dab of sealer on it to alledgedly prevent rust. They do work as good as the original pieces.
