How's it goin? heres the story. getting on he freeway,shifting at about 4k, i broke a rocker stud (the top 1/8th inch). anyways, on the intake side, that lifter seemingly disappeared the rocker, retainer, spring, etc are all untouched.... could it have broken and fallen into the litttle "valley" underneath the intake manifold? thanks - Dan

Dan,
you are going to have to pull the intake manifold off and retrieve the lifter.
inspect it and if no harm was done just put it back in.
