You should photo chronicle your steps to completion for the archives. Theat way, us pooor suckers that still have to do this can learn from you.

No problem! I'll be jumping off into this project in about a week. Right now, I'm in the middle of installing new tub and shower surround in our main bathroom, a project that started off bad and got worse. I will be ready for some cutting and welding when I get done with that!!

Good luck on that floor replacement. I just finished a 69 convertible floor and trunk and both jobs turned out bigger than expected. I also had to replace most of the body support crossmembers - there are 3 under the floor. They are expensive but sometimes necessary. Getting the bushing locations correct on the supports is a trick.
