I'm waiting for ordered AFCO springs 150# rears and UMI arms (dbl adj) and AFCO 650# fts with coil spacers (adj) and am wondering if DEREK or Denny used relocaters for the pinion angle adjustment, and geometry in the back due to ride height? also are std koni or bilstein lengths are still in their operating range at the heights you guys sit at?

Is this what you're referring to?

They shorten the SVSA and raise the Instant Center for better Anti-Squat, which is great for drag-racing, but the shortened SVSA (side view swing-arm) can cause brake-hop in high-speed braking, so they're not something you'd want for road-course driving... they could even be a problem with a panic stop at highway speeds.

I had SSM lift bars on my car before, which does essentially the same thing. I never experienced any brake-hop, but I never had to panic stop at anything over about 30mph either.

Yes those are exactly what I am referring to...I was not sure how close to parallel (to the ground) the bottom arm would be...and if it would need to be moved, or if it was looking good, I'd like to avoid them....any thoughts on the shocks, I have no specs for their stroke length (in relation to an 11" rear coil)..Thanks...

You won't need relocation devices, the arms will be fine once you get them adjusted.

For shocks I run a Subaru shock that I modified a bit to work with the upper cross pin. If you look in the back of the shock application book you should be able to find a shock with a similar fitment but shorter stroke. It's too many years since I did the research to remember the exact application, maybe a late 80's pick-up.
