Are there any tech articles on replacing a clutch? I have a 68 El Camino with a Saganaw 4 speet. I've already been cautioned to use a pilot shaft to line up the transmission, but I'm not familiar with this. If no web article what would be a good book to have on hand?

There are many places you can buy a clutch disc spline alignment tool. In fact many clutches come with them in the box. If not try any auto parts store.
If none of these are available, get an old input shaft from a broken trans.
Any service manual has the correct procedure for removal and replacement.
