Hey Guys, just looking at Jegs online, and am thinking of one of the Jegster 8point roll cages for my 68. Do I need to cut my floors and weld to frame, or do the floor plates just weld to the floor and trunk? If I'm going to the trouble to weld in a cage, I want to make sure it's gonna be working for me when the chips are down. Anybody else put in a cage ? Your 2 cents would be appreciated.

For the cage to work correctly, you have to weld it to the frame.

As Bill said. Also NHRA rules require it to be welded to the frame.
