I know the marker light is different, but other than that, will a 72 Elcamino fender work on a 70 Elcamino. Can you cut out the marker light and make it work. Thanks for any help, Cal

Far as I know they are the same other than the marker light as you stated. Anything can be done but I bet it would not be easy to cut out for the marker light and get it 100% perfect.

First off the marker light is just more then two slots cut in the fender its indented also. Its bent down before it cut out. You can just cut the slots but then it woild look like crap in my opinion, the best way to do it cut the bottom section off a 70 then weld on the 72 fender.

Also the area where the headlight or fender ext mount to are different. Because the 70 has two small headlights were the 71-72 has one larger headlight. You would also need a donor mount from a 70 to make this work, more cutting and welding...Eric
