Hi, I have a "american Graffiti" fiberglass conversion heater box that i will be painting body color soon along with the firewall, it has a black "gel coating" on it. What should i do to prep the box for primering/painting? thanks

Treat it much the same as you would prepping for metal. Sand, prime, sand, paint.
