i have a 70 and want to swap from power to manual.. what gear boxes will swap out.. are there any problems i might run into.. or is it just as simple as pulling the power stearing box and adding the manual?

i swapped from power to manual also. all i used was the right box and pitmam arm. mike

The manual steering boxes are the same for: 66-70 A-bodies, 67-69 F-bodies and 68-72 X-bodies. When you swap the boxes you need the pitman arm and rag joint form the manual box. A very easy swap. I completed this on both my Chevelle and El Camino.
