My 66 was painted about 4 yrs ago with a Dupont acrylic enamel metalic paint.Can I wet sand that stuff with some 2000 grit to take out some of the orange peel and to get a smoother finish????

Single stage Acrylic Metalics cant be wet sanded and buffed cause you cut into the metlic. When you buff it looks bad. You can although buff it with out sandin some.
