zefhix Apr 9th, 04, 7:54 PM Guys, I've done numerous searches and can't even find a name for the piece....I need the metal strip that spans the length of the rear just below the rear bumper that sandwiches between the lower rear quarters. Any help would be appreciated...anyone selling that piece and what is it called? And the 70 piece IS DIFFERENT from the 71-72 piece, so don't let anyone trick you into buy a 71-72 piece unless of course you have a 71-72 rear bumper on your 70. Good Luck Mike michael n mississippi Apr 10th, 04, 11:12 AM if i follow your post correct.is this the peace that your rear bumper is bolted to? does your quarter panels attach to it? or trunk floor extend and attach? if so this common rusted part is not availiable.you can find a donor car for this peace.(tailpanel)mabe the name not sure about that. i get some repair panels from sundells N.C. #704-434-6759 PA.#724-794-6827 this peace is tough to replace also. zefhix Apr 10th, 04, 11:45 PM Thanks guys...the valance is the part.....I'm so used to catalogs that picture all the body panels that I must have passed it up in a catalog that listed it without a picture. it is the lower valance piece that goes BELOW the bumper on my 70. I'll order it on Mon.
