I need to get the pins welded on the rear quarters that hold mouldings on and I need the measurements of their positions and how many there are. Better yet would be a way to mount the trim without getting pins welded on.

I'm thinking somekind of screw in stud. (geez, here comes BBD's comments!) Kind of what they use to replace the windshield ones that are missing.

Now I'm not completely familiar with that particular piece of trim but most trim retainers float or slide freely with in the trim Do you have the trim and retainers?
If so mounting the attach studs equal distance from center and each end will suffice and the floating retainers can align
also some trim has a (master) or locating retainer this one does not float sometimes located on either end in the middle or both
this is where you would mark this by temp install the trim with double side tape and carefully mark the locator stud
Now if I understand you correctly these are the similar style stud that retains window trim clips??
if so most body shops should have a stud welding fixture similar to a uni-spotter and should be able to perform this easlily provided the metal is in good shape and clean
hope this helps. oh and I would avoid glueing
or epoxy the trim on It allways tends to fail and loosing an expensive piece of trim.
