Hi, I have a '71 Malibu that I just bought. I am wanting to change the dash to an SS dash and found a '70 Monte Carlo for parts. I know the dash from the Monte Carlo is the SS for Chevelle's dash except for the wood grain insert. I was just wondering what wiring harnesses I will have to get along with anything else. Thanks for the help.

You have come to the right place to find info on this subject! I am putting a 71 SS dash in my 70 El Camino at this time! My advice is to go throught all the threads that you can find and print them out for references as you go. This convertion has been covered over and over again and there is alot of great info in older references. To answer your question it a bolt is swap with a ss harness, but do the research there are some wiring issues that you need to know about.
