Hi, Group,

I have four questions.

1) Would a front fender from a 4 door 71 chevelle fit my 2 door 71 chevelle?

2) Would a lf headlight frame from a 72 Chevelle SS fit my non SS 71 chevelle ?

3)Would my 71 parking light fit with no problems?

4)Is it advisable to buy a reproduction complete door for my car? (I want to make sure there aren't any problems with the way these doors are made.)

As I understand it the body panels are the same in each year from the cowl forward...except that passenger cars (regardless 2 or 4 door) are different than el Caminos and Station wagons from '70-72.

I had a '72 el Camino and as I recall the headlight bezels are the same as '71s...but I believe SSes were painted black and the others were left chrome/stainless.

And again, the fender extensions and parking lights are different on ECs and Station wagons than on passenger cars. Sorry don't know about the doors.

Anyone out there got a Hollander's manual to help this guy out?
