I am putting the front end back together and am not having much luck. :clonk: I adjusted the doors first, then I put on the radiator support, inner fenders, and fenders then hood. I can't get the hood to line up right. I have the gaps even, the rear of the hood at the windshield is even, but I have 5" from the front of the drivers side hood to fender, and 5 3/8" on the passengers side from front of hood to front of fender. So, when I install the grill and front piece the gap is none on the drivers side and 3/8" on the passengers side. Does anyone have any suggestions that might help me get this thing right? I read some posts on hood alignment and have followed those procedures with still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try shifting your core support?

I did try shifting the radiator support. Everything is still loose but no luck. I read something about making sure things are square so I am going to pull the hood back off and see if my opening is square. I have a feeling that this may be my problem. How do you get it square if it is not?

Did you do anything else to the car like replacing the body bushings? If so, you may not have the body on the frame correctly.

No, I only did the front end. I pulled everything off the front end but did not touch the body. It must be that something is out of square because in order to get the hood to sit inside the opening I have to adjust where the hood bolts to the hinge on one side at the middle of the slot and the other side at the bottom of the slot. This must mean out of square. :clonk:
