I need the part # of the 3M mask that Eric has talked about that has the screw on fittings and also the part # for the P-100 filters that screw on to it. This is for welding and Mud sanding. Thanks my twist lock 3M mask is about shot and doesn't seem to be locking the filters in as tightly as it used to.

3M mask 37083, which is the PRO model mask
07184 for the P100 filters
P100 contain a small amount of activitied charcoal were the P95 do not. Which makes better for welding...eric

Thnaks a million Eric. So am I safe sanding mud with P-95 if so what is that part#?

I guess I should be keeping the p-100's in a zip lock when not welding?

In all my searching I found the 3M 7000 series mask that crosses with that part # is that correct? It uses the same 3 prong "bayonet" style way to atach the filters, is that correct? They don't make a srew on threaded style?

P95 for filler, primer sanding is fine.
P100 is for sanding and welding also.
You can get the P95 filters(which are white, P100's are Pink)but cant find the part number.
I get the P100.

The 7000 series mask I think is the old mask, automotive grade mask, not the PRO model.
Nothing wrong with the auto grade, just the PRO to me fits/forms better and more breathable.

The PRO mask is dark blue in color were ALL other 3M masks are gray.
That auto grade will have a part number of 07183

All the filters and masks use that 3 prong system.
