My '70 has a 454 & TH350. The TCS is still mounted on the firewall along with the wiring. Any reason why I cannot remove the switch and the wiring? Obviously, I don't have the switch on the carb or the wire going to it. Just trying to clean up the fire while while the engine is out.

Yes, you can remove it. The 20g pink has power when the key is on, make sure it is capped off so it won't short out against anything.
