I had the tail panel replace don my '66. I bought it from NPD. The fit was real good, but it had to be "finessed" where the tailight extension
met the panel on th einboard edge. Fit to the quarter panel real good. Not a bad fit overall considering the alternatives.
Good Luck

I purchased a 67 tail panel from our sponsor, Ground Up. The fit is not too bad.

Hi, I replaced my 67 tailpanel with a new tailpanel that I purchased from Ground Up , since I replaced both rear quarters, outer wheelhouses, and trunk drop offs the fit was very nice , but the trunk lock location is about 1/8" higher than the original , which causes the trunk key to rub lightly against the horizontal chrome molding while unlocking the trunk. Good Luck
