The paint on my car is around 10 yrs old, it's a clear coat lacquer. I carefully buffed out most of the car with 3M's cleaner wax, it shines like glass.
My pass quarter needs a little more than just a cleaner wax, it's seams rough and kind of dull as if it was not buffed properly when done originally. Someone recommended color sanding - using a 1000 or 1500 grit paper and polish compound. I am nervous that I may ruin the paint on the quarter.
Any suggestions on how best to get it to shine properly?
Thks
