Hi, Anybody out there ever replaced the vent wing set-up with a single side glass? I've been toying with the idea but I'm not sure how to go about it. This is on a 65 vert. I think it would really clean up the lines of the car. Any input would be great, Thanks.

You can do something else though..
Just take a door out of a 1968 2dr hardtop, remove the skin anf put a 70-72 skin on it....
And there you have it... A 1972 door with a vent window :)

How would you install a 70-2 skin on a 68-69 door shell?
The body lines are tottally different from door to door.
You would have to cut-weld, graft parts of the 70-2 door shell to the 68-9 shell to acheive the proper shape for the 70-2 skin to fit.
Basically its trying to fit a circle into triangle

The vent post on a 68 door is removable. Just remove the window workings and transfer them into the 72 door
