Who has the best deal on wheel opening trim? I checked ground up...NOS=450.00  I checked Goodmark...out of stock...I think out of all 4 pieces just one of mine is straight so I was just going to put new all the way around,to go with the new paint. Any ideas

Have you tried The Muscle factory. I have bought a lot of quality parts from them.

I think the high price for all four NOS moldings is based on the apparent limited availability of one or both of the front wheel moldings for ’70 - ’72 Chevelles.
If you happen to end up going with repros, the general consensus (at least when I was looking for moldings a while back) seems to be that most all the well known parts suppliers sell basically the same foreign-made product.
Yea! and dont forget to mention they dont fit!
You would think if they all are carring the same part they could talk the manufacturer into making sure the parts fit? graemlins/angry.gif

The guy painting my car said he's had good luck with Year One, so I checked out their website, sure enough, they had them for 133.00 for 4 of them. He said he's had good luck with them fitting properly. I went and checked out the car tonight, one more day of body work, alot more body putty on the car than I ever thought there would be,only rust was too small holes behind front wheels on either side, none on the rocker panels, seal had come out of the seam behind the bumper, almost looks like new behind the bumper, the car came from texas originally, spent 3 years in Illinois, then to Missouri, Im the 3rd owner and its in suprisingly great shape, still got a couple weeks to go before its done, I can't wait.
