I'm looking for a radio delete for my 69. Is it the same as a 68?? If not what is the difference?? Thanks for any insight or if anyone knows where to find one, drop me an e-mail.

i bought one for my 69 on ebay. it fits in the spot perfectly and screws in on the back. i believe that a 68 is a little different although similar. this was a couple of years ago and my memory is a little foggy. mike

Years ago I fabricated my own radio delete plate and found it easy and cheap to do. I used some thick plexi, fabricated an aluminum plate for behind, expoxied a plastic stud to the back of the plexi, painted it all black, and mounted it. Just make a paper template for the opening shape, cut the plexi to size and make up your own version of a retainer from behind. I found a neat "Chevrolet" script at a swap meet and glued that onto the front of the plexi to jazz up the blank spot. I did this for a 68, but you could do it for any car.
