I guess you have to live on the west coast in order to get your car done.

Not really, I'm in the midwest and with some hard work I'm hoping to have my car done in the next year or two.

If I were to wait for overhaulin' to get around to it, it would probably never get done.

i think foose should have put more time in on the elky. it looked good, but it didnt have the same flair as the other cars on that show.. i almost felt sorry for her. but the car is cool.

I thought the El Camino looked great, but the whole show was about pranks and that S10. I personally wanted to see more disassembly and reassembly of the El Camino than the S10, then again, I am biased towards old cars and noT ashamed to admit it :) . I really like teh way that guy does flames; his flames actually have a 3d look to them.

I haven't watched Overhauling for a while but recently watched an episode with a Mustang and one with a 69 GTO. Maybe it's just me, but in both cases the cars looked great until they suck those big-arse ugly wheels on them.

To me anything over 16" on a classic or musclecar is too big and most look best with 15" wheels.

I guess you think white lettered tires and high jackers are still kool also....huh:D??

The new world of hot rodding has changed more in the past few years then it has ever had in the past (70's thru 90's). Bigger engines, bigger brakes, and yes....bigger wheels. You have heard of Pro Touring right?? Well, guys like Chip Foose and Troy Trepanier are the ones that started most of the bigger wheel dare to be different style of hot rodding years ago when no one else wanted to. Go to a GoodGuys show once and tell me how many 15" rims you see compared to 17 or 18 inch rims??
You have to open your mind to different ideas.
If I had the $$, I would have 17's on either my Elky or the Velle tomorrow.
