I saw a chevelle in the back of a business today, couldnt get close because its fenced off. the front clip is missing and I can see the front frame horn? where the bumper bolts to is bent in. If its only the end stub on the frame damaged about how much would it cost to have it straightened? the thing looks to be bent in about 45 degrees where the frame bends out. just a rough guess would be appreciated, Im sure folks here have had minor accidents and had the front bumper bend that part before. Thanks Jim

May as well have entire frame checked to insure it's straight while you're at it. Cost in N. VA to do that on a laser frame machine is around $300.

Yeah, about the same here.
I know of a local frame shop that would tweak it (within reason) for $300.
They did my Elky after I reunited it's body back onto the frame.

Jim's sig. says he's in AZ. Usually means a no/low rust frame. I'd have it fixed if possible or splice it.

I sold a frame from under a 68 as a rolling chassis w/4 wheel drums, etc....for $100 about 2 years ago...it had almost zero rust and was not bent....

If one framr horn is bent, theres a possablity that the frame might be "diamonded"! That would add to the cost of the repair.

talked to the owner and he doesn't want to part with the vehicle. I asked what he was going to do with it and he told me basically he's just going to let it sit, has no intensions of fixing it, doesnt want to sell or trade it. Didn't even want to come up with a price, just wants it to sit. He's got a 64 or 5 el camino body he'd let go for $3500, too bad I dont have a bunch of el camino parts. Jim
