I'm having a little problem with the heater core box that goes in the engine compartment. I bead blasted it, cleaned it with a prepsol and primed it. I painted it with the correct paint from Eastwoods. The paint is in a rattle can. After painting it, the paint on the metal began to get foggy. The next day, it was all foggy. I sanded it, cleaned it again and sprayed it a few days later. It happened again. What is wrong??? What am I doing wrong???

High humidity can cause this. I've had this problem in the past when spraying at nighttime when the temperature dropped and started approaching the dew point. Condensate forms on the surface as the thinners in the paint evaporate, and this causes the paint to cloud as it dries. Try spraying it in the sunlight, but not during the hottest part of the day. Mid to late afternoon is best.
