They charge about 8% - is it worth it?
Car is a 69 corvette 427 4spd convertable numbers matching 65k miles, just wondering if it was worth putting money into.

A nice restored car will bring more money there (Scottsdale) than any other place in the country, alotta times more than you can retail it for. Just remember on top of the 8% you also are charged for the run number itself, price varies for day and time.

A friend of mine put up a Shelby GT500 with a little over 6000 miles. The car was in the Caroll Shelby museum in Las Vegas for a year. He put it on the internet and the highest bid was around $200,000. This was an all original car and even autographed by Mr. Shelby. He put in the BJ and got $432,000. with only 3 minutes 10 seconds of bidding.

Does he think it was worth it? I think so. I know the buyer said that if the bidding would have continued, he was ready to keep bidding. There were two people bidding on the car and it was supposed to have been up for 4 minutes. Had it continued it more than likely would have gone over $500.000. :hurray:
