Reinstalling new fuel tank on 71 chevelle and can't find where the ground wire attaches. I had eye surgery and just cant see well enough to find the hole...

Its been about 3 months since the removal

Bob, if your laying on your back looking up you see the metal lines from the gas tank sender poking out a little. Go up the body about 4 inches or so and towards the drivers side about 6-12 inches. There is a very little hole in the body that a very little sheet metal screw goes in. At least there was on my 69. Hope this helps and your eyes are ok. I have keratoconus and may need cornea transplants one day so I sympathize.

let me go look at that and see. I have the tank out of the car so it should be easier to see it..

FOUND IT!!! its up under the flat part, i looked on the flat part for 15 min. thats all i needed is a little help
