i have 70 chevelle daily driver with a 350 in it. i just went from 165r15 to 235/60/15 in the front and now the front sits higher than the rear.

i think it may have bb spring in it from the 502 that was in it before i got the car. i want to bring the car down around 1.5"-2" up front. will i have and tire rubbing issues dropping it that much?
whats the best "bang for my buck" spring and how much will it run me?

thanks!

I have 255/45/17s in front and the tire is tucked under the fender about 1/2".

The best "bang for the buck" is to cut a coil off, thats zero bucks... If you don't want to do that, coilsprings.com make some pretty well priced springs, and will make them to order, with any size drop you want.

Silly question but what size tire do you have in the rear ? a 225/70/15 is a great tire for the front with a 275/60/15 in the rear. Tire diameters are essentially the same at around 27.5" for the best handling without expensive 16 or 17" bicycle wheels.

16s or 17s are bicycle wheels? LOL my 02 monte carlo came with 16s from the factory.

i had to go with 255/60/15 in the back because my 8" wheels have 4.25" bs.
