Other than the marker lights what other differences are ther between the two years.
Possibly a difference may be the hood hinge mountings??

The hole is the only difference.

If memory serves, '69 hinges will work on '68 fenders, but vicey won't versey.

The part of the hinge that bolts to the fender is the same on 68 & 69.
Hinge difference is the center to center bolt pattern on the hood part.
