Im looking for some type of rust removal product something that eats light rust away. I been restoring my 71 chevelle and put a new AGR Steering box on and all new suspension components and my frame has been sitting out side in the weather due to my garage has the body in it. And the other day i went to look at it and noticed i have flash rusting on my new steering box and centerlink idler arm & tie rod end and its just eating me up to see it so can anyone give me a name of a product and were i might get it that will remove surface rust.

I use Naval Jelly. Available at any hardware or AutoParts store. Even K-mart or Wallyworld.

Muriatic acid and a scotchbrite pad with rubber gloves, but be careful not to inhale the fumes. Wash with water then follow up with metal conditioner or self etching primer.
