OK I have never done any kind of body work or painting on a car before. My son and I are working on his 70 Chevelle Malibu and would like to get it looking good but we don't have big bucks at all so we are going to be doing alot of the work ourselves.
Questions, how hard is it to remove the trim molding, any special tools ect, what about the reinstall after the paint job. Also any hints on some minor dings on the body for bondo ect.
Thanks in advace for the info.

Hi Dickson,
Well, there is a wealth of information on the web, here as well as another good site, AutoBody Store (http://www.autobodystore.com) . Follow the links to the classroom. It appears as though you are in the Washington State. Green River Community College in Auburn has an autobody repair for the hobbyist class two nights a week. You used to be able to store a full car there but I believe the storage area has gone away. If you are close and you can drive there in your project it's a neat deal.
