I have the opportunity to purchase a 1969 chevelle 4 door that is in excellent shape, low mileage and garaged. Is the frame from a 4 door the same as a 2 door? I'd like to possibly use the 4 door frame for a project buildup on a 2 door if they are. If not what other cars interchange frames with the Chevelle? Thanks for all your help.

My book says as long as its not a sedan it will fit.

The 4 door sedan/station wagon/el camino frames are 4" longer than the 2 door coupe/convertible frames. All sedans have 4 doors in '69, all coupes are 2 door.
Hollanders basically says that the following interchange:
'68-'72 Buick Special coupe/convertible
'68-'72 Chevelle coupe/convertible
'68-'72 Olds F85 coupe/convertible
'68-'72 Pontiac Tempest coupe/convertible
