Hello, can any one tell me were the vac hose from A.I.R. goes to, manifold or ported supply? Thinking of putting the pump on, recieved it in a box when I bought the car. Also how can I tell if it is still good? Thanks for any help!
Gary.

Recalling back to the 60's and 70's, the major failure on these pumps were bearings etc and it would lockup or make a lot of noise. But I dare say a great many were removed because many felt the robbed HP and fuel milage. It was common back then for many to remove the pollution junk because it made the engines not perform well.

The A.I.R. system has it's Diverter Valve Vacuum hose hooked up to Manifold Vacuum.
There is a Manifold outlet source on the front of the Holley #4150,just under the front bowl angled on the passenger side at the mounting base.
If you have the 1970 TCS system as well, this is it's source too, shared w/a Vac tee.
