Hey, I bought A set of Plastic inners at Super Chevy Indy. The drivers side fit great but the pass. side will not fit. It is hitting the frame so bad that I can not get the bottom of the fender in far enough to get the bolts in it. I tried to trim it some but I afraid any more will look bad.. Has anyone else had trouble with theirs.. I wonder if I got a hold of a bad one or a 2nd...??????

There's been a lot of discussion on this site as to the quality ( or lack of it ) for the repo plastic fenders.

Most seem to dislike them. I used a pair in 1993 and had to SLIGHTLY trim the passenger side. I don't know if the manufacturer and/or molds have changed since then, but I was pretty happy with what I got.

I do remember clearly though, that the ones I bought were not as glossy as the newer ones I have seen. I also noticed there was no square hole for the heater hose bracket on the passsenger side on the new ones, but it was there on the set I bought ten years ago.
